While connecting to a friend’s Wi-Fi, I found passwords saved on my phone from the past twelve years of networks and personal hotspots. These names and passwords form a private archive of rooms entered, signals borrowed and relationships left behind.
Wi-Fi creates connection, but also marks permission to enter and stay. I wrote them onto sticky notes and sealed them in vacuum packaging. With the air removed, these fragments are compressed and preserved like seeds.
